# I can’t find my child’s class on my family portal

When registering your child, it is not necessary to include their class details. The registration process typically requires basic information like the child's name, age, and contact details to ensure proper identification and communication. Class-specific details, such as their teacher or class, are not relevant and won't affect the registration outcome.
